‘No Poach Approach’ Now Tops The High-Value List
A flash ‘member survey’ revealed that our membership condition of (1) a ‘No Poach Approach’ has eked past (2) free lead referrals, (3) networking, and (4) our highly prized ‘Beware’ Notices as the most valued association feature. Perhaps it’s the result of the massive expansion that many members are experiencing, along with the colossal growth and entry of newcomer BC, COworking and CO-BC operators into our markets which has everyone concerned about top management and staffers, along with key clients, being whisked away from them by aggressive competitors … so it’s a relief to know that WANY Operators agree to not ‘headhunt’ and poach other members’ employees and clients, as a primary condition of membership.
Rounding out the Top 10 WANY Membership features were: (5) the meeting and published/distributed educational components and best practices sharing; (6) free, up-front staffing assistance (no poaching); (7) flash surveys; (8) free Annual Conference and quarterly meeting attendances; (9) Ethics & Standards Committee assisted conflict resolution; and (10) A+ Standards Certification Reviews with optional free assessment and counseling.
